Crested Butte Development Team is fully licensed with the State of Colorado Office of Early Childhood.
In our effort to establish groups with diverse ability levels, age and gender, our coaches will be selecting the riders that will fit into our program this season.
All grade levels are for the 2021-22 school year. All program details, including fees, have been updated for the 2021 season.
This group is for riders ages 3-5, including 2021-22 kindergarteners, who are new to pedals as well as for those who are ready to transition from road to dirt. Groups will be based on age and ability with combined genders. Our small group ratios will allow all of these riders to make huge progress with both their skill development and confidence. These kiddos should be comfortable with their balance on a pedal bike as well as using their brakes (most of the time), rather than their feet, to stop.
NO TRAINING WHEELS PLEASE. All athletes must be on a good fitting bike with 12”- 16” wheels, have an excellent fitting helmet and most importantly, demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for riding their bike.
