2022 CB Devo Summer Programming New Application Accepted
Mar 7 @ 8:00 am – Mar 20 @ 11:30 pm

New applications for 2022 CB Devo Summer Programming will be accepted during these two weeks.  Before submitting an application, you must first complete our new user registration from our website.  After completing this step, you can login to your account and complete the NEW ATHLETE APPLICATION FORM.

Please note that you will not be able to complete registration until you have been notified that your child has been accepted into CB Devo programming.  Your athlete status will remain “pending” until changed by admin to “approved”.  All applicants will be notified by email of their athlete status no later than April 1, 2022.

We have many factors to consider as we determine the number of participants our program can sustainably serve.  Coach availability, safe coach to rider ratios, transportation, US Forest Service user days are just a few of these limiting factors.  Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding as we navigate this process.

Crested Butte Devo Bike Swap @ Crested Butte Nordic Center
Apr 29 @ 10:00 am – 1:00 pm

Given the enormous success and community support for the Crested Butte Devo Bike Swap the past two years, we’re beyond stoked to bring it back again in 2022!!  With nearly 200 riders ages 2-18 in our program, we’ve got lots of great quality gear piling up that still has lots of miles left.  All proceeds from this event will benefit the Crested Butte Devo High School Race Team that is supported by the Crested Butte Development Team, a nonprofit 501 (c)3 organization that is solely dedicated to providing a fun and safe environment for young riders to develop the skills and passion that last a lifetime.

We would like this to be a high quality event so please no garage junk.  Only bike specific gear in good condition will be accepted.  Donations are more than welcome!

Drop-off Location, Dates and Times are as follows:

Crested Butte – Friday, April 28 from 1 – 6 pm at the Big Mine Ice Rink

Look for CB Devo tents at both drop-off locations

There is a fee of $1 per item that you put a sales ticket on.  20% of each item sold, max of $300, will benefit CB Devo.

If you wish to drop off more that 10 items, please contact us to make special arrangements.  We’d like to keep the advertised drop-off windows moving as quickly and efficiently as possible out of respect for busy schedules.

Pick-up will be after the event on Saturday, April 29 from 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm unless other arrangements have been made ahead of time.  Unclaimed merchandise will be kindly donated to CB Devo or Six Points.

Any questions can be sent to Adam at [email protected]

Skills Clinics With Crested Butte Devo Coaches – 12:30 pm – 3 pm

We will be offering plenty of FUN and SKILL BUILDING for beginner to intermediate riders.  Our professional CB Devo coaches are notorious for getting kids stoked to take their mountain biking to the next level.  The focus of these clinics will be:

  • Vision
  • Cornering
  • Body Position
  • Braking
  • Bike Set-Up

Don’t miss this awesome opportunity!  Availability is limited, please contact Adam at [email protected] today to reserve your spot.  Same day sign-up will be based on availability.  Clinics will take place at the Hartman Rocks base area and participants should meet at the picnic pavilion – a.k.a. “Original Kid’s Growler Headquarters”.  Riders are required to have a proper fitting and safe bike and helmet along with gloves, proper footwear, hydration pack with water and a snack.

These clinics will be offered free of charge, however we strongly encourage and appreciate any donations that will benefit the Crested Butte Development Team, a 501(c)3 non-profit youth organization that supports riders in the Gunnison Valley.
