Mini Devo

deva-thAlways start with a night of good sleep and a stoked attitude! Please pack healthy, energy filled snacks, and a nutritious lunch for your athlete…he/she will be training hard all day and needs excellent nutrition to perform his/her best.

  • A hydration pack with at least 1 liter of water plus a small water bottle if he/she has a water bottle cage.  This pack should be big enough to hold several snacks.
    • Coaches can stash extra snacks in their packs for these young riders.  We don’t want their packs to be too heavy!!
  • A good fitting and well-tuned bike with at least 16” wheels is mandatory.
  • Coaches will have pumps, spare tubes, tire levers, & basic tools.
  • A lightweight rain jacket.
  • Sunglasses & sunscreen are highly recommended.
  • A properly fitting helmet and bike gloves are required.
  • Riders should wear bike, skate, or tennis shoes. (No open toed shoes or sandals)

Jr. Devo/ Jr. Deva /Devo Explorers

  • A hydration pack with at least 1.5 liters of water plus a small water bottle for longer rides is required.
  • A good fitting and well-tuned bike with 20″ or 24″ wheels is mandatory. If your child can safely fit on a 24″ bike it will make things SO much easier…bigger wheels just go faster and get over the rocks smoother.
  • A comfortable bike pack with a spare tube for your athlete’s wheel size.
  • Coaches will have pumps, tire levers, & basic tools.
  • A lightweight rain jacket.
  • Sunglasses & sunscreen are highly recommended. 
  • A properly fitting helmet and bike gloves are required.
  • Riders should wear bike, skate, or tennis shoes. (No open toed shoes or sandals)

Devo/Deva/U19

devo_thAlways starts with a night of good sleep and a stoked attitude! Please pack healthy, energy filled snacks, and a nutritious lunch for your athlete… he/she will be training hard all day and needs excellent nutrition to perform his/her best.

  • A hydration pack with at least 2.5 liters of water is required. (A water bottle cage for his/her bike with an electrolyte drink would be a great addition)
  • A good fitting and well-tuned bike with at least 26” wheels is mandatory.
  • A comfortable bike pack with at least one tube specific to your athlete’s wheel size, pump, tire levers, a derailleur hanger specific to his/her bike, chain specific quick-link, a compact emergency blanket, lightweight rain jacket, and arm warmers. (Leg warmers and a thin beanie or buff would be a great addition)
  • Sunglasses & sunscreen are highly recommended.
  • A properly fitting helmet and gloves are required.
  • Optional but a great addition. Purple Lat 40 Map of CB & a compass.
