Crested Butte Development Team, Inc, a 501 (c) (3) is a community non-profit dedicated to helping the youth of the Gunnison Valley become both passionate cyclists and engaged young humans. Living in a small community blessed to have some of the most incredible trails on earth, our teaching tool of choice, a bicycle, is a truly special way to impactfully help our participants learn about sport, about friendship and being a part of a team, about overcoming obstacles and challenges, about the importance of health and nutrition, and the importance of time outside. Serving a 98% local group of athletes and being cognizant of the costs all face for the sports they are passionate about, we work tirelessly to keep our programming fees as absolutely low as possible.
We operate a truly lean and mean administrative team, have an incredible board (all supporters themselves), and focus on putting our dollars directly into program expenses, training, safety and risk management, and of course our incredible team of coaches.
